It is Gadget month! currently trying on my new bluetooth keyboard and it is smooooth. Like I could type forever lol.
First up, got a refurbd LG G8, I was gonna pass up on this one because of the reviews and it is quite old by cellphone standards but it is the last of the LG series since LG discontinued its mobile phone line. For 7,700 I think it is good enough, it is lightweight and still fast. The screen is fab and it is now oled tho I am somewhat partial to the display of the G6 maybe coz it doesn't strain the eyes like the oled screen. One of the other reason I got this is because it needs to replace my LG G6 which is kinda laggy in opening apps and I really don't know if it wifi issues but it's been that way for quite some time. Like I am not even running games, it's just shoppimg apps or socmeds. Funny, that Pinterest is loading fine now and Youtube, Netflix is still good.
Then I've been wanting a bluetooth speaker for so long but I need two which will simultaneously play coz I have two ears, I just feel more balanced that way. 'was looking at the Edifier but I saw the Huawei Soundjoy, pretty expensive but since I have a Huawei smartphone and laptop, I know it can;t sound bad, right? And it's good, not that stereo sound that I am hoping to find but it is pretty loud and I like it better than the fancy Tivoo.
And lastly, this pretty keyboard and mouse from Mofii. Not sure if this was inspired from Lofee, that super expensive brand of fancy keyboard, mouse, speaker combo but I think this looks better and for a fraction of the price. I got it in milktea color, very nice to type on. Maybe I could write a novel lol.
Do I need it? maybe not but with limited only one usb port on the Huawei, I can only plug in the numpad. sometimes it is easier when you have a mouse and now it is not wired so freedom from wires. The keyboard has a numpad already so all good..
yea, it is working good. Oh, it is pretty really. I got a keyboard protector, too, just to protect it from dust but it covers up the pretty haha. I'll just cover it up when not in use. I don't have grubby hands anyway.
This looking like a WFH set up and I am still waiting for the monitor to arrive maybe tomorrow it'll be here. refurb unit tho coz I am hoping I could save some money and I really want a square shaped screen, hope it doesn't look ugly.
Dang, I think I need a wrist pad, too. The mousepad is an acorn with wristpad but I need a full length one. will just edit this later. I'm lovin the mouse, so free without the wire. 'am thinking the laptop should be in milktea color, too hahaha. Or maybe I should've chosen the green one to go along with my spruce green laptop and speaker in different shade of spruce green. The 2nd hand Dell monitor I got online is just a big, square kinda ugly monitor screen. I don't know what to do with it if I should switch it with the CCTV monitor which is originally the pc monitor anyway.
Should I just go for the BenQ? I should've gone for it now I just wasted money on something that is not really aesthetic. pfft.. Seriously, what do I need that PC for except for some occasional encoding on excel, trouble more than its worth. Can't I just use the Macbook Pro 2012 which is just on the corner should I need to encode something on the fly. It is heavy but it is still good for that. I only need to connect an external keyboard and it is all good. And here I am thinking I should buy another laptop with a numeric keypad built in.
Without an encoder these computers are useless.
