It's the Coffee Talking

  To my friend with the most enviable handwriting: hope you are well upon receiving this missive.(missive?! :)) It's been a long time since I wrote a letter and this is just a little exercise to while the time. I got tons of things to do but let's me just do this for now, naka break naman si lola..  It's been raining here for a month now and I took for granted the days when the sun was out and humidity is low, we are constantly ranging from 85 to 95 nowadays and you know what that means - Moooolds. It's mold season in full swing , clothes don't dry properly, have to constantly iron them all out before you fold them and iron it again before you put it on. Good to have some warm clothes, I feel the cold nowadays, must be a highland grandma thing haha. So I was doing the laundry and I thought,when the hell will these clothes ever dry? 'must be nice over there at Nabel's place where the weather is perfect for drying clothes. nwei, we deal.  'wanted to go to ...

 The caffeine kicked in and I find myself here in this site to which only this laptop knows my username and password. Recently, there's been a resurgence of snail mails and people got creative and they write a letter, with some artprint and stickers other ephemera, stuck it all inside a nice envelope and sell it for a pretty penny. I got some, of course, but it doesn't feel sincere coz it is generic. sometimes they all have the same theme of romantizicing life, slowing dowm, going for a pause, yadda yadda yadda. I love the artprints and maybe the stickers but I am done. for now.  Anyway, this lead me to more art related stuff like journaling, washi tapes and rubber stamps. The latter is my kryptonite and when the gate opened up for me, not knowing before that there's a world out there full of these cute stamps, I was like a kid in a candy store. I went crazy and down the rabbit hole, nothing much in the local shores so have to look in China, Taiwan, Japan and Malaysia. Mayb...
