SNAIL MAIL

 To my friend with the most enviable handwriting: hope you are well upon receiving this missive.(missive?! :)) It's been a long time since I wrote a letter and this is just a little exercise to while the time. I got tons of things to do but let's me just do this for now, naka break naman si lola.. 

It's been raining here for a month now and I took for granted the days when the sun was out and humidity is low, we are constantly ranging from 85 to 95 nowadays and you know what that means - Moooolds. It's mold season in full swing , clothes don't dry properly, have to constantly iron them all out before you fold them and iron it again before you put it on. Good to have some warm clothes, I feel the cold nowadays, must be a highland grandma thing haha. So I was doing the laundry and I thought,when the hell will these clothes ever dry? 'must be nice over there at Nabel's place where the weather is perfect for drying clothes. nwei, we deal. 

'wanted to go to Alma's place and go see her mansion once it's in the finishing stage already and not so much people. . She had the house blessing party on her birthday so naturally a lot of people and lechonitas for the feast that follows. And it rained so much that day, more blessings for our dear friend. She just leaves her laundry in the shop and collects it in a few hours.

 Going to the mall just slaps you with the reality that your house is a mess. As much as you love to buy a new, modern dining table which will double as a work desk and in your mind would complete the dream office setting but NO. Like where exactly do you intend to place that? and is it childproof? Everything now should be thought out very carefully.  No book on decluttering will ever help you declutter if you don't put in some elbow grease. How many ebooks and audiobooks do I have on decluttering anyway, how many tv shows and vlogs? You get some ideas here and there but in the end you do it your way with old housekeeping skills you have watched people around you do. Good thing I grew up in that era but still I suffer from wanting everything clean and not able to do anything about it because of dust, pets and now a baby.  It weighs heavily on my mind the daily chores that I ignore and if I get them done it makes me angry that I have to do it all over again in a few days o...

Dalgona Coffee

  I was looking for a free blogging site because wordpress is not working for me. Can't access my account. Then I tried this Blogger.com, and to my surprise I have an account here lol. coz I forgot, of course. and I don't know my password here either.  Well, because of the Sylvanian Families and the Hironos, I needed some display cabinets and that started me searching for Japan Surplus. It was difficult to find pieces that don't look too dated or you know in one look everyone will know it was a surplus item coz of the style and the paint. Win some, lose some. The Nitori chairs were a good find but kind of expensive when months later after I got them Nitori opened their first ever branch in the country pfffft. But I got me one brand new chair which is yet to be assembled. I got it in blue. Now I want the mocha one,too but currently out of stock.
